Had my ATV2 for a couple of weeks now, and love it. My only issue is that my 2 channel audio set-up (not a HT guy here) is older and all RCA inputs. The HDMI lets me hear nice sound through my HDTV, but it pales in comparison to my home system.
I did a quick search and found plenty of sources for adapting the toslink output of the ATV2 to RCA. I could then listen to my iTunes library through my audio system, versus the HDTV speakers.
Anyone tried this? Good or bad experience? The adapters I saw online are reasonably priced ($20-$30) plus the cost of an optical cable.
Thanks in advance for any recommendations/suggestions.
