Macbook Pro; Mac OS X 10.5.8; 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo; 4 GB DDR3; Late 2008.
I'm having two issues with my laptop and I'd appreciate any help or advice.
1) The subwoofer (located to the right of the trackpad) is intermittently non-functional. Playing music the L&R speakers work, but the subwoofer is off and only comes on again after tapping the area where it is located. (MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2010): Left and right speaker balance - valid for 2010 MBP's but perhaps my late 2008?)
2) When using the optical mouse, the cursor often jumps irratically to other positions on the screen.
