I keep getting ghost alerts from techtool pro 5 even though I have erased all traces of it. Not one daemon or plugin or preference pane of it is left an I continue to get alerts. Any ideas?

Possibly someone here is familiar with it to provide help.

In the meanwhile, I'd suggest you head to their forum.

I have been to their forums, no help there. In fact they don;t really have forums, just an FAQ. I even read PDFs [of email exchanges] of customers with the same issue and all they gave them were half baked responses on getting rid of daemons and the preference file. I've used clean my mac, AppZapper, and countless other programs to hunt down and delete all of this program's files and none of them have been able to remove the alerts!

Sounds like another 'drag it to the trash and that gets rid of it on a Mac' story there somewhere. if software comes with an uninstaller, use that each and every time or you are asking for trouble.
