Hi,
My old MacBook works fine to get video off my Sony DCR-SR62, however I can't get this working for my latest MacBook Pro? Why would this be?
Details - I have been trying to get my Sony DCR-SR62 video camera to connect in via USB of my latest MacBook Pro so I can transfer some video files off it. It is a:
Model Name: MacBook Pro
Model Identifier: MacBookPro6,2
Processor Name: Intel Core i7
Processor Speed: 2.66 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
When I connect the video camera to it I never see a new folder/drive appear for it, so it's as if it has problems setting up the initial connection.
Old Mac Book - The weird thing is that if I connect my older last-06 MacBook to the video camera then things work fine. Could it be something like USB version incompatibilities perhaps?
Any ideas what this may point to?
