Is it just me or dod Apple recently remove the integrated gpu option from the low end imac?

I'm almost dead sure they had an integrated option for the imac up until recently and now poof it's gone. This is a great change. I'm just not sure if the change happened recently. I'm think it did. Am I right?

Yes, you're correct. Last year's lower end model iMac still used an integrated GPU chipset which shared memory. That was the 21.5" 2009 model. This year's models all have discrete GPU chipsets with their own memory.
