Thanks.
Am I right in thinking then that if I enable Personal web sharing and forward port 80, my site will be available to anyone on the net? It's not just a local network thing?
Hi, yes that works fine.
If i use my netgear dg834g and forward port 80 i can access the webpage using another networked pc but cant access it from another location using the internet. if i use a d-link ethernet modem i can access the web site from anywhere. must be something to do with my ip.
You need to use your WAN IP address which you can find in your router settings, instead of your LAN IP address(192.168.0.3) so you can access your webpage from outside your network.
