Man, that's not bad at all, jeez!
I have a friend that's so concious of his (make that vein) that he wears a bandana all the time, and my wife's cousin is 25 and has far less hair than you.
Nothing to worry about there at all.
For the record though, if it gets really bad, out with the clippers would be my choice (says he with the number 2 cut :D)

Have a friend of mine who's hairline has receded all the way to the back of his head.

He combs about 10 hairs from one side to the other across the top of his head.

Think he must use Butch Wax to keep them there.

Get it shaved dude.

Birds love the baldness. Imagine how much Jason Statham gets :Lips-Are-Sealed:

Okay, so you are no longer 18 and your hairline is "receding" - you look like you're mid twenties now... oh no! Haha.

But when I do eventually end up not being able to sport the super long hair look without it being obvious... it's going one of two ways. I say the **** with it and keep growing my hair long and then start a super huge beard to match so I can become that old UNIX geek/hippy/biker lookin' guy. Or, I'm shaving my head, growing a giant beard, and wearing a bandana.

For some of us in our later years we wake up with a little more face to wash and where
hair was not a problem has to be trimmed out of the ears and nose not to mention eyebrows that stayed a certain lenght for 40 years start to grow and what did not turn
loose turnned grey.

Haha I did use the word 'somewhat' for a reason :p

I'm aware that it's not terrible, and was just interested in how noticeable it is to other people (apparently not too bad) and if shaving it would draw unnecessary attention to it (probably not worth the risk it seems).

Haha if you can pull it off I say go for it. Despite riding a motorbike, I think I have very little chance of pulling off the biker look. The unix geek on the other hand...

White guys with a shaved head look weird to me with very few exceptions. This is especially the case when if your beard stubble is longer than your head stubble. Black guys can pull the look off more often because of their darker skin tones.

I'd rather have my man with a bald spot instead of a bald head, just please don't do the combover thing.

Well Homer Simpson kept his hair to the very last strand. And still has 3 stands left I believe.
