Hi I have a powerbook 10.4 and I'm trying to install snowlepoard using another computer in target mode because my disk drive don't work. I started the computer that I wanted to install it on while holding the alt key then selected the mac OS instilation disk. The computer then went to the startup screen (white with Apple logo) and that's where it ends nothing happens past this point at all someone please help!

Your title says install Leopard help, however in your post you say Snow Leopard.
Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6) will not install on a Powerbook.
You need a retail version of Leopard 10.5 (black and purple discs with a big X on them).
