Crashing during game?

I have a brand new macbook pro.

To have some fun, I went out and bought Starcraft (The 1998 game) for it. The game works fine. The system requirements are a joke. However, I can't play it without it making my entire computer crash. It's usually only like 20 to 40 mins before it does. I don't know why. When I bought the computer in the first like two days I had a few programs freeze, but, not since. I have no problems with it at all accept for this. I don't know why it would be making the computer crash.

Any ideas?

Looks like 10.5.3 breaks starcraft and Blizzard has no way to fix it. Not sure about newer versions of OS X.

Hm, interesting. That's from 08, I wonder if there's new patches available. NTM I'm running Snow Leopard...
