I have a Win7 PC for "normal" stuff and a MacBook Pro for my digital photography hobby. The MBP is an experiment. It may be replaced by another PC laptop or the PC will be replaced with an iMac...time will tell (while I like the the MBP, I have to consider my wife who is very intolerant to change ;))

My issue is that my photography results is large storage requirements. I've been considering a NAS but lately started looking at an HP media server instead.

Thoughts? Anyone try to connect with one of these from a Mac?

Connecting should be no problem as it is a simple NAS using TCPIP. I have connect a mac to windows servers and UNIX based servers and a NAS is likely to use a *nix kernel. Anyway, I would recommend a NAS for file storage but the choice is really yours.
