Hi,

I've recently needed to connect to a wireless network on my Mac to update my OS. However, I don't have wireless networking capability built in as my Mac is a Mac Pro from 2006. Is it just an airport card that I need or do I catually need Airport Express?

Airport cards seem to be fairly cheap on eBay:

Airport express seems fairly expensive either old or new.

Cheers,
Chris.

It looks like that card should fit and work in your Mac Pro. And yes, that's all you need. Buying an Airport Express router is not necessary if you already have a router that you can use for wireless.
