buying a macbook pro

Hi all

I am thinking of buying a refurbished macbook pro but looking at the technical spec it has the same graphics card as the macbook i have now and less ram but has a slightly faster processor. Is it really worth getting or will it not be much different from the macbook i have now?

A faster processor really won't help much. It will be faster in synthetic benchmarks but not in real world performance.

If it had an i5 and you had a c2d then it might be a different story.
