Hey

does anyone here use skype? I was wondering about it because my sister is traveling to paris for a while and it sounds like i could call her skype number and only have to pay local area fees, any ideas?

I use Skype and if you are using computer to computer you shouldn't have any fees at all. It's only if you go from computer to land line does it cost money. The best way to find out those fees are by going to the skype website and find the place that you would be calling and it will show you the cost.

We used Skype from the UK to Kenya when we used to have someone working on site. Much better quality than the landlines !

Have you enabled the 'echo cancellation' option in the preferences?
