Quicktime Forgets My Prefrences

Hello,

Hopefully this is a really simple question. Everytime I open Quicktime it prompts me to identify my connection speed, and has reverted back to non-Pro Quicktime, no matter how many times I enter my serial number (which it accepts, but it doesn't then unlock the Pro features).

Why is it forgettingmy prefrences/serial number? I've never had a problem before with Qt Pro. I recently formatted my HDD and re-installed OS X (10.3.9). Still using QT6.5.

A-Ha! All I had to do was delete the prefrences files from the library and reset everything. Now it works fine.

I can hear everyone else in this forum send me a collective "duh!", but I'm proud of myself.
