Can you upgrade to 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM if you have a 667 MHz in your iMac or do you have to use the same spec?

Always replace or add memory with the exact type and speed that Apple has installed. OWC or Crucial are the best places to shop for memory.

According to Apple your machine can take 4 GB, Mactracker says it can actually take 6 GB.
