Hi All

I am trying to help a friend map a network drive through a vpn to a folder on our windows 2003 server. I'm not sure if this is the right place but I really have no experience in using macs so I need someone to possible give me step by step instructions on how to set this up.

We manage to get the vpn connected but as soon as we try to map the network folder it just says that the folder does not exist.

Please can someone help with this

thanks
Cathy

Once your VPN is established, do CMD+K, and then enter "smb://<ip.address>/<share name>".

If you need to authenticate to the server (even after establishing your VPN connection) then prefix the <ip.address> with "<username>@<ip.address>"

You will prompted for the password later on.

Regards
