For people using Macbook Pro's do you tend to find the 250GB is enough for normal use, thats internet, bits of graphics design and just general work functions, whats your thoughts on this guys thanks.

2012 MBP i7 2.7 GHz 15" Matte - 16 GB RAM - 120 GB Intel SSD - 500 GB DataDoubler Mac OS 10.9
I have a 250GB HD and I'd say that unless you have any plans on storing a lot if images or movies on the HD its going to be more than enough. Besides if you ever need a bigger one, a 500 GB one can be bought from OWC for 100$.
Don't buy a larger one from Apple, they are overcharged IMO.

Thanks for your reply well i already have an iMAC so i wont be using the MacBook Pro for anything extensive so 250G's so be more than enough i would of thought :)
