Hi, I'm new to this forum but I'm in a jam!

I've been using Bootcamp w Win 7 for my business as I manage data for several companies.

Lately my windows side has been slowing and so I used winclone to make an image of my windows side, saved it on a seperate Seagate external hardrive and re-sized my partisions for greater space.

Now when I attempt to restore, it gives me the following error:

I must have this restored by tomorrow (Monday) morning or I'm in a huge jam w my clients.

Thanks for any assistance as I've now seen winclone's support is gone.

WinClone is no longer being supported. And, sorry to say but WinClone is a bit buggy as you have found out.

Did you make an image backup of your Windows 7 partition using the included Windows 7 backup software? If you did, you can easily restore Windows 7 using your original Windows 7 DVD and the image. If not, you may be out of luck. Usually those WinClone errors are fatal which means a reinstallation of Windows 7.

Next time you want to increase the Boot Camp partition, use CampTune from Paragon Software. It's $19.95 but it works.
