Yesterday I installed Snow Leopard on my MBP for the first time and today noticed all sorts of odd happenings and decided to restore to just prior to the install via Time Machine. Once complete, I opened up Apple Mail and was immediately met with a dialog box that Mail would require an importing of messages before it could continue. After a 10 minute import, I get an error that the index for Mail has been damaged and to repair, I must quit Mail and open it again. Doing so just cycles the process around again repeatedly. All this before the Mail window even opens, so I can't even open it and then try retrieving my accounts and mail from Time Machine. What's it going to take to get it back up and working? Any and all help is much appreciated!
