Keyboard f-keys not working properly
I just bought a new iMac yesterday and am using the apple wireless keyboard with 10.6.5. I can't seem to get the F-keys to work properly, specifically f10, f11 and f12 for volume control. Even pressing the fn key with any of those won't work. I've tried reassigning the expose shortcuts and making sure all the software was updated. From what I've read in other forums, people have been successful at solving this problem by checking the box labelled 'use all f1, f2, etc. keys as standard function keys' in system preferences under keyboard, but I don't have that option under my keyboard tab. Any ideas on how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance.
