which software does this?

Hi everyone.

does anyone know which program I can use to select a part of an image (say a person), cut it and then insert the image in another photo?
Is there an easy program to do that?

Photoshop Elements is among the many options that can do this. It's an inexpensive program ($99 retail, often available for less).

is it complicated?

I have only used Apple software, never tried Adobe.
Aperture wont do it, iphoto neither.

"Is it complicated" is fairly impossible to answer without knowing your skill level in various things.

It's set up to be as easy-to-use as possible, but has lots of options. You could download the free trial, look up a tutorial on Google and give it a spin.

Or you could try Gimp, its free and is similar to Photoshop. You can always delete it if you don't like it.

GIMP is more complicated than you can imagine.
