What's the max # of monitors that can be connected to the new 27" iMac Quad Core with the ATI Radeon 5750?

The simple answer is (out of the box)...you can connect one external monitor to an iMac.

With some costly hardware...such as this Matrox Dualhead2Go for $286.99:

PC Mall | Matrox, DualHead2Go Digital Edition Graphics Expansion Module, D2G-A2D-IF

...then you can connect 2 monitors. There's even a Matrox Triplehead2Go.which costs even more...and you could connect 3 monitors.
