Disk Utility Question

i ran disk utility on my macbook pro last night and it said i needed to repair my hD and to insert my installation disk to do so...problem is im currently running Snow Leopard 10.6.5 and i no longer have my Snow Leopard installation disk...i only have my original Leopard one that came with my mbp...can i use that one and not worry about any info being lost? or do i have to buy another Snow Leopard one?

You should be able to use the disk you have. You are only going to use it to get to the disk utility. To repair a disk it needs to be unmounted, therefore you boot from the disk.
