Custom Greeting disappeared upon 4.2.1 upgrade

Anyone else see this happen to their iPhone4? Custom greetings had never disappeared during any previous OS upgrades on my 3G. But, this latest update on my iPhone4 somehow reset my custom greetings.

Any input from anyone? Any word on the chances of recovering them?

I had to reset VM on both of our 3GS phones after the update - which does lose your custom greeting.

1st I've seen this in 3+ years of updates.
