If it is still a Windows only program, try installing Windows with BootCamp.
Or going down to version 2 which is Mac compatible. If you have version 3 need another license to run different version on your Mac.

And there is a version 3 available for Mac but you may have to pay another $388 if you use the PC version:-

so shell out more dough for bootcamp? i'll try other alternatives.. thanks.

BootCamp is on Snow Leopard under Utilities. Geez!

Lightroom 3 will run in OS X 10.5 or 10.6. I thought the disc had both installers on it, but what do I know. Check the package. Don't think you'll be able to run it on both Windows and OS X with the same license though. If you have a Windows only disc, call Adobe and ask to transfer your license to your Mac.
