i dont have no mac's
i sit here with a good old miller light in my hand (well on my mousepad) and i have ran across way too many food threads i figure i'd make one about beverages (not pop/coke/soda).

i would have to say that my favorite beer is yeungling...just the regular old lager not the black and tan or some other one i ran across once.

my REAL favorite beer which saddens me that it does not fit into my vegan diet is guinness, followed closely by bodingtons and many other english and german beers....but the filter process uses animal products in order to clear them so i am S. out of luck

whats your favorite beer, eh?

I'm a Spirits person, but a bottle of Sol with a lime in it will do good. Kronenberg is nice too.

Guiness is my favorite beer, hands down. A good Bass/Guiness black and tan is always nice as well. I also like Pyramid Hefewiesen as a lighter beer; good with a nice cheese burger or steak, and I drink Amstel Light as my general purpose, watching a ballgame beer. Samichlaus Bier is good for fun (it is 14% alcahol) and I love drinking a good, fragrant Duvel or Chimay out of an open mouth glass as a good dessert beer.

I bought this fridge to keep next to my couch for my Guiness selection. :D

I like a good Bodington's. I like drinking real ale in UK. Sadly, back here in the states (well in my town anyway) real ale is not to be had.

Hard to have an absolute favorite, but my top 3 are:

1) Paulaner Hefewiesen
2) Harp Lager
3) Dos Equis Amber

we have relatively weak beers here in the states, but on hot days nothing beats a good ice cold silver bullet (Coors Light) for taking the bite out of my thirst. (damm, i sound like a commercial! lol) my bro-in-law works for Miller, so he *buys* when he's around. :black:

for sipping i prefer Alaskan Amber.

Depends where I am...
UK ~ blacksheep, or Thwaites Bitter. Failing that a generic lager such as Becks, Bud
USA ~ Sol, Bud
Africa ~ Tusker or Tiger, again a lager. But mainly Gin & Tonic. Tonic contains quinine (supposed to be anti-maleria ~ good enough excuse for me !)

I can't drink Guinness anymore after drinking it in Ireland. I find myself to be drinking Yuengling and Amstel the most

A local brewpub (Sudwerks) makes some outstanding beers. My favorite is their marzen, followed closely by their hefeweizen.

Harp, Modelo Especial, and in the wintertime, Guinness.

I used to love Caffrey's until they stopped selling it here in the USA.
