Hello folks,

I am looking for an application to setup http proxy on my university desktop. Most of our library resources are available only within our university IP territory. For outside use, we have a separate system which is tedious to use and very time consuming.

I am considering to install a http proxy on my lab mac mini (OS 10.6) so that I can setup that proxy in google chrome (Win 7) when I am home and surf library resources without much hassle.

I was wondering if anybody can recommend me a light-weight freeware. I came across Squid but I am not a geek and not good at compiling business, hence looking for an alternative.

Any help is most appreciated.
