My battery doesn't seem to take a charge. I've had my MB plugged in for 20 minutes and the battery icon percentage is zero. When I look at battery information in system profiler, the mAh is 0. Does this mean my battery is dead? It shouldn't be as the cycle count is only 56. Any thoughts?

Take it to the apple store. If it is dead at this number of cycles they will probably replace it unless you did something to it. If you did something to it you should tell us what you did so we can give better advice.

Your Mac's Specs
Back to my old 2.2GHz C2D MB after selling my MBP and wondering what my next Mac will be :)
Could also be the charger, or something with the battery connections, logic board, etc.

Does the charging indicator light come on?
What does the battery icon in the menu bar say when you plug the charger in?
