water exposure recovered

ipod touch exposed to lots of rain , dried it off and found out how to open case which id did--i sprayed it with electrical contact cleaner ( name not available where i am right now--away from home) dried it on low heat heating pad for 2 days--nothing came up so i figured it was dead---left it on a my shelve for about 3 months--found it the other day and figured why not plug it in--and WOW it came up!!! charged it it is now working just fine--
