Why is ShapeShifter 2.5 not open on my mac?

I have downloaded Shapeshifter on my Mac OS X because I want to change the theme of my mac.

Version 2.5 released Sep 12, 2007
Requires Mac OS X 10.4.x
NOT compatible with Mac OS X 10.6 Leopard.

It downloads and then the installer sits in the dock, I open it and it comes up with a window saying:

'Unsanity Installer quit unexpectedly'
Then theres three options, Show details, OK, Re open.

Ive tried the reopen button but it keeps coming up with the same message and I've sent a report but still nothing.

I need BIG help! Or is there any other application like this except Magnifique?

doesnt support 10.6.0 above use candybar
