Hi,

Recently when ever I apply light pressure to the flat base of my Mid 2010 MBP I hear a sparking or crackling noise from inside.

Does anybody have any ideas on what this could be and how to solve it.

Thanks again.

Too many...
From inside as in when you listen to music, or it's actually making noise while doing nothing? If it's the later, it could be something stuck in the fan(?).

either way actually, it should be normal.....its a piece designed to hold the logic board in place, if you want to risk it, u can take it out, no idea how tho.

if your still worried just take it to a genius at apple or call them

HDD Clicking

If your hdd is clicking, then you need to back up your hdd. That way if it fails then you are good with a backup
