Hi All,

Was just wondering if anyone knows why we would have a blank monitor (the light in the corner is on) when we turn the base on?

We turn the base on and it makes all the normal noises and the light comes on the monitor but the screen remains blank, someone has said it might be the graphics card but just wondered if anyone has any other ideas or if the graphics card could be the problem.

Thanks in advance

G'day and welcome to the forums.

Helps if you provide OS etc, however op[en up your Mac Pro, unscrew the bar over the graphics card and remove it and re-seat. Make sure the PCIE cable is still attached to both the logic board and the graphics card.

Next step is to set a different display up with your Mac Pro and see what happens.
