I have a macbook at home as my home computer and manage my itunes from that computer. Now I find myself on the road with my windows work computer and want to access my itunes library. More specifically I want to go to the itunes store and download an audio book and sync it to my ipod so I can listen to it while driving. Can I download itunes on this computer then download and sync? or will that erase what's on my Ipod? Also i have mobileme. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, it will remove everything on it when you try to sync it the first time to another computer.

What iPod do you have?

edit: And please do not crosspost the same thing in multiple places.

Need to be at a wifi spot.

Open up iTunes on your iPod, click the More link at the bottom, then Audiobooks. You can buy and download right to your iPod.

If you're an Audible member, you can also download the Audible app from the App Store. You'll need to purchase a book in your browser, but then you can download the book direct into their app. Their app will let you download any book in your Audible library.
