mobileme iweb comments not working???

i click on the add a comment in my site and all works fine but this pop up box appears and looks like it has errors.... also when i click add comment it doesnt do anything

An Easy Fix

I had the same problem. Apple first had me delete my Library | Cache folder, and then delete the Library | Preferences | com.apple.iWeb.plist file. This worked temporarily but the same problem with the iWeb comments box kept resurfacing.

The next Apple support Representative simply had me open Safari and click on File | Reset Safari. This solved the problem once and for all. He said the problem with posting comments to iWeb blogs on MobileMe has to do with the way Safari treats cached web pages -- and how it may see your MobileMe site as cached (i.e. give you the same broken blog comments input box for an iWeb site on MobileMe) even after you thought you may have solved the issue.

Try resetting Safari. It worked perfectly for me. For days I thought the problem had to be within iWeb and it was driving me crazy -- when the problem was actually within Safari.

Oh, and also, make sure you are viewing your MobileMe web site via the http://web.me.com/"username" URL naming structure. If you happen to be using the older http://web.mac.com/"username" URL structure, you WILL get the iWeb blog comments box problem from time to time.
