Watching a DVD on Iphone

I ripped a DVD to my MBP in mp4 format. I then synced itunes to my iphone. How do I now watch the movie on my iphone? Do I need an app?

Videos app - that would be iPad.

iPhone - would be in the iPod app, under videos

Thanks for that clarification. Not having an iPad I was wondering what video app he was referring to.

Sorry about that mistake! I've spent so much time wi my iPad that I hand't realized that iPhones and iPod touches had not received the same video app.

No problem. I make too many mistakes to even count them.
Must be this senility, because I still remember in my younger days, I was never wrong. :D

Interestingly, it's the iPad that's the odd device out here. The others just use iTunes to play video, just like iTunes on the Mac/PC.
