I have had a mac book white and then i accidentally banged it against the edge of the table. The back light works, the sound works, the track pad works, the keyboard works but nothing is on the screen. I could still change the brightness and the screen is not cracked

You can try taking it to the apple store and seeing if they fix it. If there is no sign of physical damage and you don't mention hitting it they might not notice and just fix it for you.

It sounds like you jarred the video cable loose when you banged it against the table. You can certainly take it on in to an Apple store if you wish but keep in mind that accidental damage is not covered under the Apple warranty.

If you would like to attempt to fix it yourself, go to iFixit: The free repair manual and look up your model MacBook. Find the instructions for replacing the LCD panel and look for the video cable connections.
