I just got my new PB with Jaguar, but will install Panther (already ordered) when it is available. My question: will my programs and settings transfer, or will I have to reinstall, for example, AppleWorks?

If you do an archive and install the only thing you might encounter is applications that arent supported by panther. but if you read my post here you can see that most applications work with, or come with panther

when installing, choose customize after choosing your hard disk, and select archive and install (it might be before choosing your hard disk, but either way, youll see the button)
