Hardware: 20" iMac (Purchased Spring 2008)
Processor: 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 4 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
System Software: Mac OS X Version 10.5.8
Internal Mic is non responsive.
Additional Hardware: Alesis MultiMix8 Firewire
(Audio I/O) works perfectly. Device appears for iTunes, Peak, System Audio Preferences, Logic Studio, but does not appear for Skype.
From the time I first purchased the unit I had only used the internal mic once during an iChat conversation back in 2008. Only now, I tried using the internal mic and discovered that it is non responsive whatsoever.
I have done multiple searches within the forum and have not found an answer.
Any help would be of great use.
