Split mp3 into separate tracks?

I have a single mp3 with multiple tracks within... how do I make them separate files?

MacMini 14.3, 8.1 & 4.1, OS 13.5, 10.14, & 10.11 & 10.6; Macbook Pro 8.2, OS 10.12.
Re-record the individual tracks within the one .mp3 file using GarageBand, Audio Hijack, Quicktime Pro; or, the best of the lot, WireTap Studio. [Check each of those out with Google.]

No need to re-record. Several programs (such as Amadeus Pro, $40) will split the track up using markers and save each as a separate file. I'll bet even the free Audacity could do this.

Yep you can split and trim audio in audacity and its completely free.
