I'm sure there's gotta be a way to tackle this from terminal, but... well, lemme start from the top.
Got a MyBook World Edition (1TB Gigabit Ethernet home NAS) - started putting data on it before I "Configured" it. I configure it and rename the device. All of my folders in the Public sharepoint that HAD data are there and still accessible. The "Movies" and "Torrent Save Location" are not. Red circle, - sign. I try to delete them, and i get "Error -8072 Trash could not be emptied."
Can't find what that error is, but how would I go about mounting that device over the network to sudo rmdir those?
