Where is usr/local located?

Hi guys,

How are you doing? I own a macbook pro for 2 months now. I just downloaded zend server community edition for development purposes with php.

I really do not how to get to usr/local bla bla ..
any ideas how i can do that?

Open up a Finder window, push Shift-Command-G and enter the directory you want to go to. Be careful when working in directories that are hidden (they're hidden for a reason).

indeed your right .. but i do not know how to change the directory ..
i tried pasting a shortcut only to htdocs but it did not work like in windows ..

You will need root permissions to edit that directory. If you move something to a directory that requires root permissions, you will be prompted for administrator credentials (which you should have or know).
