Missing spaces office 2011

My bro and I have a macbook pro each one. We installed the new office 2011 in both computers. We also have the same VM and office 2007 in both computers. When I create a doc with my Word 2011 and then open it with the Word 2007 (windows), there are missing a lot of spaces between words.
Creating the doc with my bro's office 2011 does not happen. We installed the same programs and we did the same, what could be?

Moved to correct forum.

Something has to be different if you're getting different results. Perhaps it's the way you're saving the Office 2011 document. Are you saving it as a compatible document (*.doc) or as XML (*.docx)?

Same problem with missing spaces

Sent a perfect .docx document today. When it was viewed on Windows 2007, spaces disappeared between random words.

Fix for missing spaces is a patch for Office 2007 (on Windows)

It means the Office 2007 installation is not fully updated. There is a patch that was included in Office 2007 Service Pack 2: Word 2007, DOCX Compatibility and Missing Spaces - Office Sustained Engineering - Site Home - TechNet Blogs
