ps/2 to usb adapter problem

Hey

I bought a ps/2 to usb adapter for my old keyboard so I can use it with my powerbook. But it does not seem to be sending power to the keyboard becuase there are no lights on the keyboard and it wont type. Anyone know why?

Most of those PS/2 to USB adapters for keyboards don't work with OS X, at least that is what I hear.

aww dam that sucks. O well i can still find a use for it maybe on a pc or something
