Hi,
I partitioned my HDD using BootCamp so I could install Windows 7 which I did successfully but then realised I needed more space on that partition. Im trying to delete the partition and resize it over again but cant delete it.
BootCamp doesn't want to help so Ive put the OSX Installation disc in to access the disc utilities. Ive seen other threads saying that you click the partitions tab...volume scheme then one partition but im not getting this, all i am getting is the window with first aid, raid, erase and restore. I can see the partitions and have erased the contents of the partition but cannot restore it to one HDD.
Can anyone help please?

The proper method for erasing a Boot Camp partition is to use the Boot Camp assistant from OS X. Select Create partition, then select restore. That's all there is to it. Did you try that?

Using Disk Utility usually results in creating more problems, however, done correctly the BC partition can be erased with Disk Utility and the space returned to OS X.

First remove the BC partition by selecting it and press the small minus button at the bottom. Select "apply".

Now use your mouse to drag the partition line of the MacIntosh HD partition until it encompasses the entire drive. Select "apply". You should now have only one partition as before. Reboot.
