Anyone here using dot.tunes?

I'll soon be buying some form of ipod speaker dock for our ipod touch as a Christmas present for my other half (possibly Bose) and would like to stream music from imac or macbook and possibly radio too. I've come across a product called dot.tunes but am confused about the need for various plugins and additional downloads available/required.

Does anyone here have any experience, good or bad, of using this product or know of any reviews that are not immediately found by google?
