I was wondering if I can upgrade my ibook G4 OS X 10.4.11; 1.33 GHz; 1.5 GB (never upgraded to Tiger) to Leopard or Snow Leopard. All the upgrades seem to be programmed for the intel chipped Macs and I'm nervous I'm falling to far behind and don't want my computer to become obsolete. It's becoming more difficult for me to download current upgrades for my iPod and am falling behind in what's availably for it. I mostly use this computer for word processing and web surfing. I love this little computer.

10.4 is Tiger. Snow Leopard will not run on a G4. Leopard would. You can't prevent your computer becoming obsolete. It's inevitable.
