I need to find a way to ensure that the POSIX permissions on downloaded files are always at least as open as 664. The UMASK as currently set in launchd-user.conf is 002, but some downloaded files have permissions like 600. This is particularly a problem with folders and files unzipped by the Archive Utility. Any thoughts? I really don't want to have to write a script that actively checks the Downloads directory 24/7.
