Interesting. iWork11 is rumored to be more compatible with Office. If it turns out that Pages and Keynote have an option to default to the Office file format without having to reset it each time, I may buy a copy.

Eh, Pages is going to need a whole lot of improvement before I buy it again.

It's too simple which is probably fine for the average home user or student.

But some things either don't exist or are way too difficult to do in Pages compared to word for more advanced users or writing 50 - 100 page Masters papers.

If they could make Pages on par with the sophistication of Keynote, then I'd be happy.
