Office 2011 Components Com Microsoft Oleautomation Stuck

Hey,
i'm new to mac and just purchase new macbook pro 13 and office 2011 business.
i installed the pkg and i have a problem only with word, excel, and power point to open.

the process stuck in com.microsoft.ole_automation.

any idea how to solve it?
in addition, can someone please tell me how can i remove the app?

Can you give us the exact error you're receiving? - assuming that everything installed OK?

The uninstallation instructions for Office 2011 are quite involved and unfortunately, MS did not include an uninstaller. See this LINK.

Appzapper does the uninstall okay I think

Did you read from the link I provided? I would be surprised if AppZapper could completely remove everything in 2011 since it can not for 2008 (which does have an uninstaller).

There is no error, the process just stuck... btw, there was no error during the installation.

i tried to reinstalled it, but i'm having the same problem..

Since there are two of you with the same error, the best I can suggest (if you've tried a reinstallation) is to post the same question on the MS Office 2011 forum (you have to register first). The MS Office MVPs there will generally be able to offer some assistance. Also you might want to search the MS Office KB.

I also have the exact same problem with my Mac Pro 13". Only O opens, W, X & P all get stuck on "microsoft.ole.automation" during start up attempts.

If anyone can help it would be great.

but all the other apps work fine
