Both companies will announce that they've agreed to a settlement on "undisclosed terms" and that they'll be sharing their patents from now on.

Then Nokia will sue Motorola, and Apple will sue RIM, and Motorola will sue HTC...

Just refer to this helpful diagram to keep your lawsuits straight.
